what books or series are your favourites? what's your favourite genre of book? any recommendations?
7 February 2017 #72

I barely ever read books. In school I read 2-4 a year, that is in Swedish and English, because they always go on about books and stuff. But It's kind of nice to read. But after reading in school I get put off from reading more. When I got the energy, I'm gonna read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I've read the beginning once, but the book just ended up lying there... :')

Spy books xD their probably a little young for some of the older people on here, I'm not sure. My faves are Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter and I also love her Embassy Row series, it's more myster than spies though

#57 Sounds interesting :´) would you class it as a romance book then or a different genre?
intricate

I think I'd say it's some kind of mashup between romance and fantasy. But since normally don't like romance, this one's a bit different than usual (=

I just finished "A court of thorns and roses" and it was really good. I really liked reading this, apart from the ending which I didn't expect at all... But I'd still read it again only because everything else in the book was awesome. It's not so much a love story, but development and fiction (= Really worth the read

i think perhaps you should try and read it, it is called "first sight" by danielle steel. when i first began reading it, i almost stopped although as i found there was nothing else to fill my time, i continued and now i have taken it hope with me, it may be surprisingly good for you

#48 Sounds interesting, I do like reading stuff with romance in but I prefer it if there´s a bit more to it than just a bland love story that´s been told before ;p Do you read a lot?
intricate

hehe yes i agree with you, i am not so sure if this is like most of the books i have read in romance, or not. it is slightly predictable but the way it is told it is slow, and emotionally deep; rather than meet > sex > dating > end of the book i have not finished it yet, but i am hopeful for a good ending. i have not read in a long time, as i have had no time. but recently i had a quiet break in work and another worker gave me the book, and i became fixated with it that i may,

i am currently reading a book named "first sight", it is about love, which perhaps you may think uhhh, no! but it is rather interesting, throughout the book (of what i have read) it gives an emotional, heart-touching backstory, and develops slowly, into a romantic style of book. i am rather enjoying it although the author tends to repeat elements in the book which i find can be a little irritating

Just finished a series by Becca Fitzpatrick, the Hush, Hush-saga. My heart ache as I know there is no more, I want more! It's a fantasy romance I would say. (my first choice of books (and movies, haha) ;P) This was one of the series/books that make me wanna take up my pen and write again. Haven't been writing for a long time but these types of stories make me wanna bring my old characters back to life.

EllieBellie, you Do know books are a type of media? ;D I love "The Artefacts of Power" (by Maggie Furey) I have all the books, in Swedish tho. I found them at the flea market, the Whole series! It's like 7 books (I need to count them xD) and I really love it. It's so sad tho the first book just make your heart ache. When Aurian finally gets her love she loses it... And I'm also a big fan of Vampire Academy, I only own the last book tho. I borrowed the other books from the library in Swedish but they didn't have the last one as it didn't exist in Swedish yet and the there was a queue on the English one.. I couldn't wait so I bought it in English... xD
